Akintayo Akintobi (b. 1994) is a Nigerian visual artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. He is an impressionist and surrealist painter who makes use of different brilliant colours, shapes, African motifs and patterns. He has specifically adopted the use of vibrant and brilliant colours in a bid to express his feelings as an artist. He draws inspiration as an artist mainly from human emotions, unique behaviours and reactions to situations in his environment and society.  Other sources of inspiration are symbolic representations that portray the mind, appearances and allegorical metaphors. Most of his artworks are majorly acrylic medium on canvas. He is constantly researching to explore new concepts and possibilities in art.
