Atinuke Macaulay-Layinde (b. 1998) in Mushin, Lagos, is a multifaceted artist and a Fashion Designer whose works are produced with various media. She studied Creative Arts and majored in Textile Design at the prestigious University of Lagos. She is a full-time studio artist who enjoys using patterns and well defined intricate lines called the mandala design to express her inner most self. She believes her form of art is therapeutic and serves as a safe space for her which she sees as a liberating path for others like her. The patterns and hues are influenced by her state of mind during the process of creation. The uniqueness of the process of creating these designs guarantees the genuineness of each mandala piece and each mandala piece is one of a kind. She strongly believes that she never stops learning as she journey through life as an artist. As her philosophy stands, learning is continuous and so is her journey and her Art.
