Collection: Gerry Nnubia 🇳🇬
Gerry Nnubia (b. 1966) Enugu, Nigeria, is a restless experimentalist and is renowned for his unrelenting pursuit to develop new styles, materials and techniques of Art. A protagonist of Art as a dynamic vocation that must originate within the context of freedom of self expression, resonating a global perspective. Often, experimenting with materials makes him almost a "Scientist" in an Art laboratory. From inception, his works already transcended the limits of applying simple classical styles to inward expressions of his thoughts on canvas. Environment and Humanity occupy his thoughts both in casual conversation or the challenge of putting and articulating on canvas. Nnubia has exhibited extensively, home and abroad. His works are readily found in both private and public collections of big corporate establishments like TOTAL, Access Bank etc. His works were on loan to the highly esteemed Du Sable Museum of Black American History, in Chicago, USA.
