Collection: Joel Arueya 🇳🇬

Arueya O. Joel graduated from  the Auchi Polytechnic in Edo state with a Higher National Diploma in fine art (painting). Arueya goes beyond the purely representational, his interest lying chiefly in the highly conceptual  which  is  accentuated with a balance  of deep undertones, expressive lines, form, texture and pattern. The results  are emphatic, mixed media  paintings  skilfully  conveying both mood and message. To date, Joel  has held a solo exhibition supported  by Guaranty Trust Bank Nigeria and has participated in several group exhibitions and auctions including Marvels Attic art auction (United kingdom), SOGAL art auction (Nigeria) and TKMG (Nigeria). He has also recently  completed  a residency in Germany. His works were the subject of a Sterling Bank advert to promote culture and creativity  in Nigeria and can be found in many significant  spaces both at home and abroad.
