Nzennaya Barry Ikechukwu (b. 1983) in Lagos, Nigeria is a full-time studio Artist currently based in Lagos. He graduated as the best graduating student from Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State where he studied Fine and Applied Arts (2010). He is a prolific visual artist who enjoys using of shapes and other forms in expressing his wide range of thoughts that tend to document and address societal, cultural, philosophical, social and political issues. Barry was mentored by one of the most prolific Nigerian northern and horse painters - Abdulsalam Abdulkareem but was greatly influenced by the works of great Yusuf Grillo, Sam Ebohon, and great masters such as Pablo Picasso, George Braque, Paul Cezanne and Vincent van Gogh. Barry has participated in some exhibitions and art competitions.
