Richardson Ovbiebo (b. 1982) graduated from the Yaba College of Technology (2007) majoring in Sculpture. He is best known as a sculptor and installation artist who explores the role individuals play as mirrors of their environment: their actions and inactions on how spaces are created and recreated through bodily action with the use of objects and in the messages about daily life found in common materials. His work often incorporates found and industrial objects, such wheels, doors, perspex, wood, metal etc.
